i was thinking today, how secure are the governing body?
with all the hatred they have created over the years it wouldnt take much to send someone over the top and try to "exterminate" the ones who they feel are responsible for maybe a ruined marriage or life.. i cetainly wouldnt want to be in their shoes.
but i wounder how they feel, do you think they feel secure and safe.
Maybe sorry was the wrong word. Pity them might be closer.
I also don't think that it's a case of them being misguided but rather hypocritical they can't be teaching so many false doctrines without being aware about it.
That's a very good point. They must be incredibly dellusional or just plain maleficent. The calculating way they brainwash the JW's points to the latter.

I agree that replacements would be found for any GB passing away. I mean it's already happened for nearly half the old stock GB.
That dream I had was a bit wierd really cos I don't bear any animosity toward them personally at all. I feel kinda sorry for them really cos they're so mis-guided and have dedicated their whole lives to a lie.

I remember when I was a JW saying to someone who was studying paleontology at uni that there were no missing links between the species. He looked at me puzzled and said there were hundreds which surprised me.
It was then I decided to look further into the reality of evolution and not just the mis-information I'd read in the Creation book.

You know I had a dream about this the other day.
I'd dressed up smart in a suit to blend in with the Bethelites. I went through a library area where a big door with a gold lock was. Some guy was taking in a trolley with food on when I got there so I jumped over the trolley with the door ajar. I then took out all the GB like Leon the Professional while they were all having a meeting. When I woke up it seemed like a really good idea.. for about 10 seconds.
I suppose when you go to bed a bit angry it comes out in your subconscious.
I reckon they do have security at Bethel. Maybe someone who worked there would know how cosetted the GB are.

I'm wondering who Watchtower Farm Reprints are too. The address for them on Lulu.com is Patterson, New York and it says whoever runs it is a JW. Really strange.
Could it be a jaded bethelite who has access to the Bethel library and has spotted a business opportunity?
I'd like to read the book but I'm not paying $99 or $199. The copyright laws at the moment are ridiculous. It used to be that authors had to renew every 28 years but now everythings locked up even though authors are dead and no-one even claims copyright.

It's good to see you've realised the truth about the org at 16 and have the sense to leave at a opportune moment. I wish I'd have had the guts at your age when I had doubts. I had the same feelings that their idea of paradise wasn't mine at all. To destroy 5000 years of science, art, literature, technology to regress to living like paleolithic man in little wooden houses gathering nuts and berries in the woods seems ridiculous.

the notoriously shy star has just released his latest lp, 3121, which debuted at the top of the us billboard chart.
according to pagesix.com, executives from prince's record company convinced him to appear on the show to keep the album at the top of the charts, after noting a huge spike in album sales when barry manilow appeared on the program earlier this year.
When Barry Manilow was on they did 50's hits and when Stevie Wonder was on they did his songs.
Maybe when Prince is on they'll have to do Kingdom Songs. 'Keep your eyes on the prize' or 'A victory song' would be good ones. Although I'd like to see Chris Daughtry rock out to 'Lazarus lies sleeping'
